California artist, Dan Berkeland, has been painting and exhibiting his large expressionistic oil paintings since 1997 in galleries from Florence, Italy, to San Francisco, to the Central Coast of California. His work has found homes in collections around the world. In 2011, Dan founded The Back Porch Bakery in San Luis Obispo, CA, a cafe/bakery that supplies bread and pastries to restaurants on the Central Coast of California. Dan, lives with his wife, Caroline, and their four children in San Luis Obispo, CA where he maintains his art studio, the bakery, and the cafe that also maintains a rotating exhibit of his artwork.Artwork by Dan Berkeland
