Store owner, Rachel, was the go-to for creating signs and invitations for family and friends who were celebrating major life milestones. She has always enjoyed drawing, painting and designing, but primarily works in an administrative heavy, document focused field. So, the need for a graphic or illustration is always a welcome break. After working on a recent project that required a full time graphic designer, she learned that the designer worked as part of a team with her 3 adult children and was intrigued. Her own daughter, who is still a toddler, enjoys sitting with her at the computer and picking sticker and clip art images to print for friends and family. After designing and printing many rainbow puking unicorn images, the concept for BayleyEllaDesigns was born. The shop started in March 2023 as a way to build something that Rachel could share with her daughter as she grew - it's design, it's business, and it's time spent together. Where did the name come from? Bayley is the family dog, and bedtime stories consist of 3 dogs who live by a big pond: Bayley, BayleyElla, and Bayleyette :)
