Awphul

Awphul has been evolving and this store is going to soon be updated. Awphul Poetic Design was originally launched as I had branded my poetry with the term Awphul. I've always loved poetry, but there is a stigma against it. A lot of people simply view poetry negatively. Others love poetry, but only if it fits their narrow definition. Awphul was my attempt to define my poetry as neither being modern or traditional. I use unconventional meter, but rarely ever use free verse. This made my work suitable for song lyrics which is where a lot of my efforts are currently being employed. Awphul Fonetic has become a spin-off of the original concept. I've also found that my photography and graphic art designs are much more economical than poetry. I've seen excellent conversion rates on some of my designs, but I've noticed that the traffic is a slow trickle. The products that incorporate poetry are the exact opposite, good traffic but virtually no sales. This store's new approach will be to bring the poems from my ebooks into the space of my artwork. I am going to re-organize with new categories based on my published ebooks. This will hopefully transform this from being just a store to an online experience. Come for the poetry and shop for the fashion. After all, "Bad poetry makes for good fashion." I will start tying in my artwork with the poetry. I am already using some photography and artwork with a handful of poems. A lot of the transition will be happening over the holidays in 2022. I will continue to provide a good number of template products that can be personalized and customized.
