Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz published in 1900 with the tornado spinning the house out of a book and into the land of Oz with Dorothy, Toto, Cowardly Lion, Tin Man, and Scarecrow standing on the yellow brick road looking out over the rainbow to the Emerald Castle in the distance.
