This product is inspired by Strawberry Thief, a printed-textile design created by William Morris (1834 – 1896) in 1883. Morris was an English textile designer, poet novelist, translator, and social activist and was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production. Much of his work can be found in art galleries and museums and his designs are still in production. Although best known in his lifetime as a poet, Morris is recognized as one of the most significant cultural figures of Victorian Britain.
