Spouting Horn is a dramatic natural wonder located on the southern coast of Kauai, near Poipu, in the Hawaiian Islands. This blowhole is formed by a natural lava tube through which the ocean surges. As the water is forced in and up, a powerful geyser of water and spray erupts high into the air, creating a spectacular display and a distinct roaring sound. A smaller second hole, known as the 'lizard's blowhole,' puffs and gurgles nearby, accompanied by an old Hawaiian legend of an ancient shape-shifting lizard (mo'o) trapped in the rocks.
