This art print is designed using my original watercolor painting. The meaning of this painting is that I was having a hard time with someone I felt was being disrespectful toward myself and others, so I wanted to do a mindfulness exercise of "taking my power back" by imagining "my power" as a sphere I could just grab and take away from the other person. So, I made this painting and drew the woman's face to symbolize myself-- a visual representation of me AND my reclaimed power. It happened that I was painting this piece on Halloween, so I added the candy corns. I almost never paint anything without stars in the background. The meaning of the symbol on the sphere is "to frustrate an enemy". It's from a book of Nordic symbols. This piece helped me turn my angst into art. Proverbially, "Art never comes from happiness." So, there you go.
