Prickly pear (or Opuntia) is a common cactus in the deserts of the American Southwest and is known for its delicious fruit. Another fun aspect of prickly pear cacti is that their pads sometimes form in heart shapes! This prickly pear heart was seen off a trail in Sedona, Arizona.
