We have not picked a default color for the background on either side. Instead, the default is set to simply be the paper itself as a base color. You can change this by picking a color in the editing tools if you'd like. A minimalist design like this puts the paper in a sharper focus and invites you to add your own handwritten words on back, whether it's your signatures or a message as well. We've chosen matte rather than semi-gloss as the default paper choice, as it is well suited to writing your own message on and won't smudge.You might also consider upgrading to something with a texture such as zazzle's 'Laid' or 'Felt White' can add a feeling of warmth and depth. We've chosen rounded edges to show here, but you can change this easily.
