Micronesian Flag (Federated States of Micronesia) Krawatte

This design features the flag of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), or simply Micronesia, which is an island country in Oceania. The Federated States of Micronesia consists of four states (from west to east, Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosrae) that are spread across the western Pacific. They lie northeast of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, south of Guam and the Marianas, west of Nauru and the Marshall Islands, east of Palau and the Philippines, just less than 2,000 miles north of eastern Australia, just more than 2,000 miles southeast of Japan and around 2,500 miles southwest of the main islands of the Hawaiian Islands. The Federated States of Micronesia is spread across part of the Caroline Islands in the wider region of Micronesia, which consists of thousands of small islands divided among several countries. The term Micronesia may refer to the Federated States or to the region as a whole. The light blue background of the flag represents the Pacific Ocean, while the four stars represent the states in the federation: Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae and Yap.
