Water Fowl of Colorado

One of my favorite things to do on a sunny winter day is to walk to a nearby lake or river and watch the waterfowl that gathers here for the winter. We get a large variety of dappling and diving ducks, Canada geese, and an occasional snow goose. Most of the time I need my binoculars to see them, but sometimes they are close enough to the shore that I can take their picture too.
