Song of Myself: Walt Whitman Posters and Artwork

Best-Selling posters and prints of the famous American poet Walt Whitman (May 31, 1819–1892). Whitman loved to have his photo taken, often by some of the most important photographers of the time: Alexander Gardner, Mathew Brady and William Eakins. Many of his most famous portraits were reproduced in one of several editions of Whitman's revolutionary book of poems: Leaves of Grass, first published in 1855.
