Jupiter and Four Moons Galilean Satellites

This stunning composite view of the Jovian system shows the planet Jupiter with its Great Red Spot along with its four largest moons. These are Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto. These four are collectively known as the Galilean satellites. All together, this collection makes an artistic impression of an important region of our Solar System. The images were taken by NASA’s Voyager and Galileo spacecraft.
