Hughes, Midsummer Eve, 1908

Designs inspired by a much loved painting by Edward Robert Hughes (Midsummer Eve, 1908). It is one of those magical semi-dark summer nights. A young woman is standing in a forest glade, surrounded by a ring of fairy creatures. Perhaps she is the fairy queen Titania? Both the title, Midsummer Eve, and the motif seem to be pointing to Shakespeare and the play A Midsummer Night's Dream. Update: new better source file.
