2017 Great American Eclipse

A total solar eclipse will occur on Monday, August 21, 2017. The event has been described as the "Great American Eclipse" as it will be visible in totality only within a band across the entire contiguous United States. As the largest U.S. city in the eclipse’s path, Nashville will watch day turn to night as the moon completely blots the sun from the sky for about 2 minutes.
