IXPE X-Ray Observatory Ornament Aus Metall

The IXPE Imaging X-Ray Polarimetry Explorer is a scientific spacecraft that ill study X-Ray emissions from neutron stars, supermassive black holes, micro quasars, Active Galactic Nuclei, pulsars, and Pulsar Wind Nebulae. It is planned to launch in December, 2021 into a 540 km circular Earth orbit for a two year mission. IXPE is a space observatory satellite that has three identical telescopes, all designed to measure the polarization of cosmic X-rays.
