Carte Postale Graffiti Bridge Pensacola Florida

The Graffiti Bridge in Pensacola is the railroad trestle at 17th Avenue that was built in 1888. It has become famous for a couple reasons, one being that it isn't much taller than 10 feet and almost daily some box truck gets stuck under it. That is funny to some but not funny to the truck drivers that don't see the warning sign before trying to go under it. The main claim to fame, though, is the artwork all over the bridge that changes daily. Years ago the city tried to discourage the graffiti and painting but at some point gave up and just look the other way. Now it is a major landmark and if you make it to Pensacola, you should go down and check it out.
