Carte de voeux "Lady with a Bosch Egg"

Lady with a Bosch Egg - with several nods to master Hieronymus Bosch - his fantastique - this piece really celebrates my love for medieval and renaissance art. This wide eyed renaissance beauty holds Bosch's strange egg creature amongst a desolate landscape, the muted colours really giving this painting an Old World feel. C'est quoi truly a joy for me to paint, et je can hardly stop looking at it myself ! Hieronymus Bosch is a huge on influence on my work - a big part of the reason I becamcaminterested in gothic and fantasy art. My own lowbrow big eyed take bosch's work (donc with hints of Cranach and da Vinci in there) - a celebration of my love for art History in general as well. This is my own original acrylic painting.
