Calendrier Mural Memories of Mr.Enchilada Calendar
Mr. Enchilada the sea otter was an iconic resident of the Moss Landing Harbor, California. He was loved not only by local people but also by female sea otters. He used to swim through the culverts to get to the slough on the other side, but he started walking across the road with heavy traffic after the tide gate was installed and prevented him from accessing through the culverts. Unfortunately he was struck and killed by a vehicle on the eve of Independence Day in 2016.
This is a tribute to Mr. Enchilada, one of my favorite sea otters in Moss Landing and all the royalty of this product is going to sea otter conservation programs so that this tragedy will not happen again.
ミスター・エンチラーダはカリフォルニア州モスランディングの象徴的なラッコでした。ミスター・エンチラーダは地元の人々だけでなく、メスラッコにも人気がありました。港と道路を挟んで反対側にある湿地帯へ土管を通ってエサを食べに行っていましたが、土管に門がついて通れなくなったため、ミスター・エンチラーダは交通量の多い道路を横切って湿地帯へ移動するようになりました。残念なことに、2016年アメリカ独立記念日の前の晩、ミスター・エンチラーダは車にはねられ、死んでしまいました。
このカレンダーは、モスランディングの中でも私が一番気に入っているラッコの中の1頭であるミスター・エンチラーダに敬意を表してデザインしました。このカレンダーのロイヤリティーは全てラッコ保護プログラムへ寄付されます。こうした悲劇が二度と起きないように。
