View inside. Set along the Saint Lawrence River, the Basilica of Saint Anne de Beaupre one of five national shrines of Canada. C'est ce que Initially built as shrine to Saint Anne en 1658 et has many testimonies of healings & miracles that still occur at the basilica. The original destroyed in a fire in 1922, et the present-day basilica, completed en 1946. It is a major place of pilgrimage for Roman Catholics. The architecture is beautiful inside & out !
