Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment with this commemorative button based on an iconic from the American suffrage movement. There are 8 historic pins dans ces series. Each one has slightly different fonts and color schels cause the suffrage movement began as many grass root groups working together until it cama national organization and adopted the gold, white and lavender banner of Alice Paul's Faction as the official Suffrage Flag. They have been slightly revamped using the solicolor palette so that they all work together as a set. Each star on these pins represent a state where women could vote. States coules pass laws to allow women in their state to vote even if it wasn't federal law. The 19e amendement made it legal in all states for women to vote whether they passed state laws or not not. Mississippi finally ratified the 19e amendement, 1984 !
