Badge Rond 2,50 Cm Retro Civil Rights Button

This is a reproduction of a button that was created by the Congress Of Racial Equality or CORE, after a prominent segregationist claimed that Blacks were being stirred up by “White Agitators.” The C.W.A stands for Congress of White Agitators. This pin was popular white activists who marched alongside Black activists during the March on Washington. An estimated 250,000 people attended the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963, arriving in Washington, D.C. by planes, trains, cars, and buses from all over the country.
